Musician as Designer
Edition 04
Artist: Jeremy Earl
Edition Size: 60

We are thrilled to announce the fourth installment in our ongoing Musician as Designer series, featuring the work of Jeremy Earl. Jeremy's book of drawings and collages entitled Skull, published by Not Not Fun, is a reflection of his love for the ephemera of the human mind, the everlasting peace of the animal spirit, and mummified head hands. Earl plays guitar in the evenings with Woods and sells fine archaic audio artifacts through the labels Woodsist and Fuck it Tapes. He is a dual citizen of Warwick and Brooklyn, New York.

About the Musician as Designer Series -
Traditionally, musicians have been involved in apparel design for their band’s shirts, or they have asked designers to create their band shirts. We thought it might be interesting to see what happens when you ask musicians to create fashion, or graphic, t’s. The series is being co-curated by Hisham Bharoocha and Soundscreen Design. Editions began in October 09, and will be released throughout 2010.

All editions are extremely limited-edition, printed on organic Alternative Apparel garments, and come with hand numbered hang tags noting edition and designer.

Stay tuned for upcoming installments from Nick Zinner (of Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Brian Degraw (of Gang Gang Dance) and more.
